Suspension of deadlines for settling legalization matters
From January 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, the deadlines for certain matters related to the legalization of the stay of foreigners conducted by voivodeship offices have been suspended. This solution does not result in suspension of proceedings. They will continue to be processed and new applications will be accepted.
The suspension of the deadlines was introduced in connection with a significant additional burden on voivodship offices in the context of the current mass influx of foreigners from the territory of Ukraine and accompanying phenomena. The purpose of the regulation is to enable the adjustment of procedures and functioning of the administration to the exceptional migration situation. Proceedings in voivodeship offices will continue to be conducted in the most efficient manner possible.
