Suspension of deadlines for settling legalization matters

As of July 1, 2024, extended until September 30, 2025 the deadlines for settling matters related to the legalization of stay will be suspended (Article 100d(1))

Changes regarding the extension of the suspension of deadlines for settling matters related to the legalization of stay until September 30, 2025 are specified in the Act of May 15, 2024 amending the Act on assistance to citizens of Ukraine in connection with an armed conflict on the territory of this country and certain other acts.

The suspension of the deadlines was introduced in connection with a significant additional burden on voivodship offices in the context of the current mass influx of foreigners from the territory of Ukraine and accompanying phenomena. The purpose of the regulation is to enable the adjustment of procedures and functioning of the administration to the exceptional migration situation. Proceedings in voivodeship offices will continue to be conducted in the most efficient manner possible.
