Shortcomings in the application, which make it impossible to proceed with the case, i.e. lack of the applicant's signature, lack of his address, unspecified content of the request, incorrectly completed application form, etc. In cases for granting Polish citizenship by the President of the Republic of Poland, formal defects are also missing in those documents that are important to determine the current situation of the applicant (e.g. marital status, number of minor children covered by the application, gainful activity, Polish origin, etc.). If the application contains formal deficiencies or not all documents are attached to it, the request is made to remove these deficiencies within 30 days from the date of receipt of the request. After the expiry of this period, the application is left unprocessed.
