In other words, issuing an invitation, i.e. a document that confirms that the inviting person, e.g. a Polish citizen, has undertaken to cover the costs related to the planned stay of the invited foreigner in Poland, including the costs of accommodation and meals and covering the costs of his return trip to the country of origin. The possibility of fulfilling this obligation is verified during the examination of the application for entering the invitation into the register of invitations.
