A new template for an application for a Polish travel document for a foreigner

From January 1, 2023, citizens of Belarus who received a temporary residence permit for persons residing in Poland on the basis of the so-called humanitarian visa, can obtain a Polish travel document for a foreigner. On March 21, a new application form has entered into force.

The changes introduced on January 1, 2023 make it possible to issue Polish travel documents for foreigners to persons who have obtained a temporary residence permit in accordance with Art. 186 sec. 1 point 9 of the Act on foreigners.

Temporary protection for foreigners who are not citizens of Ukraine

Foreigners who came from Ukraine to Poland from February 24 this year. and meet certain conditions, may be covered by temporary protection. The use of temporary protection is confirmed by a certificate issued by the Office for Foreigners. The document can be obtained at the seat of the office in Warsaw and Biała Podlaska or by registering on-line in order to request a certificate.
