Cash benefits for holders of the Pole's Card - announcement

We would like to inform you that on January 22, 2025, the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration announced in the Public Information Bulletin information about the suspension of the consideration of applications for the granting of cash benefits with a payment date falling in a given year until the funds for their payment are secured in the budget act. Therefore, on the basis of art. 24 c sec. 2 of the Act of September 7, 2007 on the Pole's Card (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2023, item 192), we kindly inform you that the Mazovian Voivode suspends the consideration of applications for cash benefits submitted from January 22, 2025.

In 2025, applications for cash benefits for holders of the Pole’s Card submitted in the first half of 2022 will be considered.

Proceedings in cases in which applications were submitted in 2022 and which were not completed due to the exhaustion of funds intended for the payment of benefits in 2024 have been extended, and information about this fact was sent by post in the first quarter of last year.

We inform you that decisions on granting cash benefits issued in 2025 will be sent by post. Therefore, we remind you to inform the office of any change of address, telephone number and e-mail address. Changes should be reported in writing to the office, providing the case number for granting cash benefits and the name and surname of the Applicant. Applications submitted in 2023 and 2024 will be considered in subsequent years after receiving funds enabling the payment of these benefits.

We would like to remind you about the obligation to inform the office about each change of address and contact details (telephone number, e-mail address). Letters regarding cash benefits should include the correct case number (WSC-V.6152.1.XXX.RRRR) or clearly state that the letter concerns an application for a cash benefit.

At the same time, we would like to inform you that if the proceedings have not been completed and the documents attached to the application have expired, you should ensure that new valid documents are attached to the case. 

If you wish to appoint a proxy, you must attach a power of attorney document to the case file along with confirmation of payment of the stamp duty of PLN 17. The content of the document must indicate that the proxy has been appointed for the proceedings in the case.
for the granting of a cash benefit. The power of attorney granted in the proceedings for the granting of a permanent residence permit does not authorize the attorney to represent the Party in the proceedings for the granting of a cash benefit.

If there are any doubts as to whether the power of attorney was signed by the Applicant, the body conducting the proceedings may request the attorney to provide the party's signature, which will be officially certified.

In letters addressed to the office regarding cash benefits, the appropriate case number (WSC-V.6152.1.XXX.RRRR) should be provided, or it should be clearly stated that the letter concerns an application
for the granting of a cash benefit.
