List of documents that may confirm the fulfillment of the conditions for the right of residence in Poland by UK citizens for a period exceeding 3 months:
Employees or self-employed:
- employment contract, certificate of work performance, a written statement of the employer or entity authorized to entrust a citizen of the United Kingdom with the performance of work of the intention to entrust him/her with the performance of work (concerns the planned employment), a written statement of an entry in the National Court Register or an entry in the Central Register and Information on Business Activity or other evidence confirming that the citizen of the United Kingdom is a self-employed person in the territory of the Republic of Poland,
Professionally inactive people:
- proof of having sufficient financial resources to support oneself and family members, so as not to constitute a burden for social assistance (sufficient funds are considered to be funds in the amount exceeding the thresholds of social assistance, i.e. exceeding PLN 776 net per month, and for a person in the family - in the amount higher than PLN 600 net per month).
- health insurance document
Students or people undergoing vocational training:
- certificate of the unit conducting the studies on admission to studies or continuation of studies or certificate of the unit conducting vocational training on admission to such training,
- a written declaration of having sufficient financial resources to support oneself and family members, so as not to constitute a burden for social assistance, or proof of having such funds;
- health insurance document
Spouses of Polish citizens:
- a document confirming marriage with a citizen of the Republic of Poland;
Family members of UK citizens who hold UK citizenship:
- a certificate of registration of residence of a citizen of the United Kingdom, or a document confirming the right of permanent residence, issued to a citizen of the United Kingdom with whom a family member resides on the territory of the Republic of Poland, and additionally:
a) spouse - a document confirming the conclusion of marriage,
b) direct descendants - a document confirming the existence of family ties and a document confirming age or certifying being dependent on a citizen of the United Kingdom or his spouse,
c) direct ascendants - a document confirming the existence of family ties and a document confirming being dependent on a citizen of the United Kingdom or his/her spouse.
d) direct ascendants of a minor citizen of the United Kingdom - a document confirming the exercise of actual care over a minor citizen of the United Kingdom and a document confirming that a minor citizen of the United Kingdom is dependent on him/her.
The rights of family members who were dependent on UK nationals before the end of the transition period are maintained even when they cease to be dependents.
