in order to conduct business activity?

If you own shares in the company, you perform a function in the management board, submit an application for a temporary residence permit in order to business. If you own shares and are employed in a company in a different position, e.g. a cook, you will have to obtain a separate one in addition work permit in this position. However, if you are, for example, a graduate of full-time studies in Poland or a post-secondary school in Poland, then in accordance with § 1 point 15 of the Regulation of the Minister of Labor and Social Policy of 21 April 2015 on cases in which entrusting work to a foreigner in the territory of the Republic of Poland is permissible without the need to obtain a work permit, you are exempt from having a work permit for an additional position, e.g. as a cook.

If, in the situation of holding shares in the company and performing functions in its management board, you submitted an application for a uniform permit for temporary residence and work, we will refuse to initiate proceedings. However, if the information that you hold shares in the company and hold a function in the management board is disclosed after its initiation, the proceedings will be written off. However, you have the option of reclassifying the application from a uniform permit for temporary residence and work to an application for residence due to running a business.
